Memorial Day Ceremony Mon., May 23, 2011

Event: Ringwood Boro Memorial Day Ceremony

Location: Ringwood Boro Hall, Margaret King Road
Alternate Location if Inclement Weather: Ryerson Middle School
Dress: Class A Uniform

The Mayor and Council has invited Pack 96 to participate in the Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for Monday, May 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Ringwood Borough Hall by leading the pledge of allegiance.

Cub Scouts are asked to assemble in Class A Uniform at Borough Hall by 6:45 p.m.

If inclement weather the ceremony will be held at Ryerson School.

Sandy Hook Campout June 3-5, 2011

Event: Pack campout
Date: Fri., June 3 to Sun., June 5
Time: check in 5pm Fri., event ends 10am Sun.
Location: Gateway National Park, Sandy Hook, NJ
Cost: $15 per person
Food: Sat. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, and Sun. Breakfast provided
Dress: Class A Uniform

Yes it’s time! Our spring camp out is coming and time to find that
first weekend down at the shore. We are headed back to Sandy Hook and
attached is the signup flyer. It will be a great time with Sun, site
tours, the famous beach lunch, bike riding , and the all important
service project at Horseshoe Cove. We scouts, must do our good turn and
set the example!!!
Please complete this form as soon as possible as we must plan for the
food!!! Cut off is Memorial Day to let us know. Check can come at
check in for those lat planners. I have also attached the consent form.
We need one completed copy for each person attending (not just the

Spooktacular on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7pm

Event: Spooktacular Halloween Party
Date: Fri., Oct. 29
Time: 7:00pm
Location: St. Catherine of Bologna Parish Center
Dress: Costumes encouraged (for adults also)

All family is invited, adults encouraged to come in costume too. Explore the creepy laboratory and discover it’s new creations. Campfire out in the haunted woods.

Volunteers needed! Let us know if you can help out:

  • Set up 5-6:45 for the Creepy Laboratory/decorations
  • Campfire starter/tender
  • Spook out the trail to the campfire
  • Light the trail
  • Smore Set up outside

Campout Near West Point, NY Oct. 8-10

Location: Lake Frederick campground, near West Point, NY
Cost: $15 per person
Food: Sat. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, and Sun. Breakfast provided
Dress: Class A Uniform

On Saturday, we’ll be visiting the West Point museum (at no cost). An optional bus tour of West Point is available (payment is made when you take the tour). A-frames (an alternative to bringing your own tents) are available if booked ahead. For more information, see attached flyer
